Work experience.

I’ve worked in humanoid robotics and electric boats, from mechanical design and testing to rebuilding a prototype’s hardware. Here’s what I worked on at each company.

Persona AI

Mechanical Design Intern

At Persona AI, I worked as a Mechanical Design Intern on the hand team, helping design Persona’s dexterous hand. I used Onshape for CAD and ANSYS for simulations.

I independently took a project through the full engineering design cycle, from designing it from scratch to ordering parts, having them made by a manufacturer, and testing the hardware.

Over three summers at Navier, I rebuilt the company’s original prototype and designed and manufactured underwater camera mounts for hydrofoil data collection.

My work included actuator drivers, onboard computing, CAN wiring and propulsion cooling, along with composite fabrication and testing on the prototype.

Hyke

Mechanical Intern

More about my role

Electric passenger ferry · Company image: Hyke.

At Hyke, I ran CFD simulations to estimate hull resistance for electric ferries under different weather conditions and used Savitsky calculations to check the results.

I then used those resistance estimates to calculate the forces needed for the ferry to stop at its intended position during an emergency autonomous maneuver.
